I like that Dr. Kaleb suggested non-medication based treatments as well as medication, if needed. I was glad to have a discussion of medication I am taking and what changes in my condition would be benefited by an increase in dosage. She was able to explain the benefits and usage of medications (I had been prescribed by a previous physician) and how they can be used for treatment short term or long term as well as the follow-up monitoring needed. I came out with better knowledge of what the bench marks were for some of my conditions (this was very helpful) and with some steps to aid in reducing the need to increase medication dosages. More

I have been a patient at LFP for decades and 5 locations, if memory serves. I am currently under Dr. Johanning’s excellent care and my spouse is under similar wonderful care from Dr. Ryan. My spouse did not have good health care experiences with Immigration when first arriving in the US which made her wary. Thanks to the staff at LFP, she is comfortable now. We actually travel well out of our way to continue using LFP. Great care, easy access on short notice when needed, on-site labs and pharmacy, what’s not to love? More

Including the office staff As a patient of this office for almost 10 years, I am extremely disappointed at the service received by Tracy Hoelting today. She told me my daughters test were negative and asked if there was anything else she could help with. STUNNED! I told her, my issue and I needed an answer. She didn’t check my daughter at all until I went to leave because she did nothing. I did tell her my daughter should’ve obviously been scheduled with her doctor, this lady has no clue! I will not be paying a bill for this visit! More

I was reassured by Tracy's assessment of my tick bite not being a serious concern. I question the validity of the temperature reading taken with the forehead gizmo by the assistant. It was 98 F in the office while feeling feverish and 100 F shortly after when taken at home. More

I went in for an annual exam and was out in roughly 35-40 minutes. It was extremely efficient and I didn't spend significant amounts of time waiting. 1/4/24 having a female issue, my Dr was not available so saw Mr Walker. Gave him details of issue. He poked my stomach through my shirt a few times. Said will get a UA but you have a UTI. He came back in a short time with a script for steroids saying it was UTI. Come back 2 - 3 weeks if not better. 1/30 I saw Dr Kalb (my Dr) she took time for asking questions, listens & tests. She advised there was abnormal cells. On 3/4 OBGYN @ KUMC was doing surgery for STAGE 3 female cancer! Please don't waste your time (it might be more precious than you think) with Mr Walker if you want to see a Dr. Thankful for Dr Kalb & her staff! 5 * for Dr Kalb! More

Attentive, meticulous, and patient! - I was in search of a new primary physician due to the fact that my previous doctor retired. The facility I was going to made me feel unwanted and unappreciated. Dr. Miller previously accommodated me on a Saturday morning when I couldn’t get in my old facility. I had a massive poison Ivy outbreak. She also fit me in on another occasion to assess a new condition I had, Bursitis. She has been very conscientious and thorough to see that all my vaccinations, procedures, etc. are all up to date. I am so thankful for to have found such a wonderful place and doctor to make me feel welcome and confident my health is in good hands. More

I got an appointment on very short notice. Couldn’t find my Medicare card they were all cool about it. They took their time and spoke slowly which is important for me because I have poor hearing. The medical assistant was very thorough. As was the Nurse Practitioner and her understudy. They took their time and covered the bases. I needed a new doctor because my former doesn’t accept Medicare. They already gave me hooked up with my needed surgery which was part of why I went in. I have a lot of issues to focus on and I believe this Practice is up to the task!! More

So I've been here for years and recently started seeing Jessica Hampton due to availability openness and have gone back because shes awesome. She listens to my problems and provides multiple solutions and keeps in mind important factors like family history, socioeconomic status, etc. I have referred people to her and they also have had a good experience. She's also good at explaining her decisions. If one way or another has side effects she explains it well so non doctors can understand well. If something is not in her realm of speciality or she's not comfortable prescribing or treating she will refer you and give you other options. I really respect that and I'm glad she is careful instead of playing the guessing game. I'm a picky person due to medical abuse that has been in my family and I love this place and will keep referring people here. More

I am on my second generation of doctors and am one of the Original patients from back in the 90's. Love the practice, love the ease of having everything "in house". Apts are usually right on time. Great Hours. They are flexible and I even send any injured employees from our business to them and they are great to work with on paperwork and payments. Just recently counted and I have referred over 20 people to this practice. All of my friends and family. Dr. Carla delivered my son and Now Dr Brett is his GP. We were very sad to see both the Phipps retire Dr Carla and Dr Brad) but they left us all in very capable kind hands. Just recently Dr Ryan (Love her BTW) worked with my mom who is very nervous with doctors and put her mind at ease. Last month we got a lifelong friend who hasn't been to a doc in 15 years to visit Dr. Blake Phipps. He was so comfortable with Dr. Blake he immediately got the colonoscopy Dr. Blake requested..... And Dr. Blake saved his life by catching cancer early. I SEND ALL MY FAMILY & FRIENDS to them and actually trust them. That says it all. More

There are so many things that LFPC has done for me and family. While I was in school I worked there as a nurse and know the staff well. They are compassionate and caring and deal with a multitude of problems and do a great job of taking care of all walks of life and all ages. Dr. Ryan is one of the best people I know and will go to bat for her patient's anytime. She is a very talented physician as well and help me battle migraines with medication, OMM and botox. She also did OB care and delivered my healthy baby. She is a joy and will always do her best to care for you and your family. She has stayed late, come early and spent extra time with me, my kids, my friends etc. She's a pro at headaches, ortho, skin care, OB care, and all women's health. I've had great experiences with all the docs and Jessica. However, I felt compelled to write this post because last night Dr. Johanning stayed late to care for my infant son who was diagnosed with an ear infection and RSV. He personally stayed late and called me himself. It really was going above and beyond. He went the extra mile and offered to test him which it was 10 minutes til close and had a hunch that it could possibly be a more serious virus-which it turned out to be. This diagnosis and the extra phone call made us all feel more at ease and allowed us the knowledge to keep our kid out of daycare to keep other babies safe. Dr. J also cares for my parents. They absolutely love him and are so happy and confident with the care he provides. LFPC is an overall great place that can care for you, your kids, and your parents. More
