There are so many things that LFPC has done for me and family. While I was in school I worked there as a nurse and know the staff well. They are compassionate and caring and deal with a multitude of problems and do a great job of taking care of all walks of life and all ages. Dr. Ryan is one of the best people I know and will go to bat for her patient's anytime. She is a very talented physician as well and help me battle migraines with medication, OMM and botox. She also did OB care and delivered my healthy baby. She is a joy and will always do her best to care for you and your family. She has stayed late, come early and spent extra time with me, my kids, my friends etc. She's a pro at headaches, ortho, skin care, OB care, and all women's health. I've had great experiences with all the docs and Jessica. However, I felt compelled to write this post because last night Dr. Johanning stayed late to care for my infant son who was diagnosed with an ear infection and RSV. He personally stayed late and called me himself. It really was going above and beyond. He went the extra mile and offered to test him which it was 10 minutes til close and had a hunch that it could possibly be a more serious virus-which it turned out to be. This diagnosis and the extra phone call made us all feel more at ease and allowed us the knowledge to keep our kid out of daycare to keep other babies safe. Dr. J also cares for my parents. They absolutely love him and are so happy and confident with the care he provides. LFPC is an overall great place that can care for you, your kids, and your parents. More

I have been seeing Dr Amanda Miller for awhile. I did not choose her. After some changes in staff, I was moved to her care. I would def choose Dr Miller now!! She takes the time to understand my issues and answer my questions, and does so in a friendly, knowledgeable way. She makes recommendations and she follows up!! I love that! I've found Lawrence Family Practice an easy place to get in and out of and parking is readily available. Everyone is friendly but maybe a bit on the hurried side. I try to remain understanding that there are a lot of patients and everyone just wants to get in and out of the doctor's office quickly. I find the wait times are usually standard but have on occasion waited a little longer that preferred. Overall, I recommend this place if you are looking for a general physician. More

Dr. Melissa Kalb, her nurse Jordan and the entire team at Lawrence Family Practice are exceptional at providing patient care. They are responsive to patient needs and concerns, spend time educating patients and explaining preventive, diagnostic and interventive/treatment recommendations, AND-probably most importantly-CARE. There is an art to being both gentle and assertive, which I feel this team has mastered. I credit Dr. Kalb with saving my life when she quickly referred me to a specialist team upon noting changes to my usual lumpy breasts. Her swift action resulted in identification of an aggressive cancer. She spends AS MUCH TIME with patients as they need—never making anyone feel that she needs to move on to something else. It’s a wonderful difference from how many practices are run. I love this team and have so much gratitude for them. More

Alana Ryan became my PCP when my PCP of 28 years retired. I have so appreciated her understanding of that transition, the time she has taken to get to know me, the time she takes to talk with me during appointments and of her expertise. We found Dr. Blake Phipps patient, caring, and thorough. He takes his time and asks good questions. He did follow up research and consulted with other doctors in the office about our case before the next appointment and had good recommendation. He verbalized his commitment to stay on our case and help as best he could. We have been please with his care. He is a young doctor, knowledgeable and not arrogant. More

Have been a patient for 8 years and never had an issue with billing/insurance and very few issues with wait times (2x in all the years). After my regular physician left the practice, I visited other physicians and finally connected with Dr. Amanda Miller, who is a comforting, kind person and knowledgeable physician. Miller's nursing staff is highly communicative; They update online charts quickly and also call with any results or issues. The sonogram technician is highly experienced (25+ years) and friendly. The lab technician takes blood samples painlessly and there is very little wait for blood work. Lawrence Family Practice has been a staple for my health care throughout these years and I plan to keep utilizing their care and expertise for years to come. More

Dr. Johanning has great bedside manner. He takes time to talk to you and explain any questions you might have. I always leave his office understanding my plan of care. He is not only my PCP, but also my OB/ GYN. Dr. Johanning is also my husband's PCP, and he is very happy with his care too. Highly recommended! Ps.
